Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of fourteen. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing wrestling and BJJ before making her first amateur appearance at 18 at WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd felt more confident following this win and won 3 bouts in Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents all fell by the start of the round. Then, she went back to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen won over Silvia B beghian and Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen to beat her a unanimous decision, putting an ominous mark on her record as an amateur. Ladd rebounded from her loss by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, bringing her record up to 8-1. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in 2015. She signed up with Invicta FC and made her debut. At InvictaFC 11, she had her first professional fight. She was a rout of Ana Carolina Vidal, securing the 1st-round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 was her first bout in the Bantamweight division. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar during the second round. Aspen used superior wrestling to take down McGill in third round TKO. Aspen then faced Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. Aspen fought Hoy in an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd was not able to gain weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy to finish her in second round by TKO. Invicta FC21 was her final fight for the company. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks with a majority decision. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut was at UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round at the end of the 2nd. When she next faced Tonya Evinger in UFC 229, her victory was even more stunning. Ladd beat Evinger in the very first round and earned a reward for her performance on the evening. Her first fight of note came in her next fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. The two fighters had a close fight that Ladd won by unanimous decision. Both fighters were awarded their Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie put an end to Ladd's winning streak in just 16 seconds. Yana Knitskaya fell in the 3rd round at UFC 7.7 on ESPN. In a match that was a replacement in the UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The fight was unanimously decided in her favor.
