Alisyn Camerota

Alisyn Camerota - journalist, author, the CNN's "New day" morning program, Westport resident and Westport Country Playhouse trustee - has been elected to the Westport Country Playhouse board. Camerota's three decades of journalism have included reports across the country as well as in other countries. Furthermore, she has been awarded several awards including the Edward R. Murrow Award and an Emmy Award. As part of other trustee board changes, Johnna G. Torsone of Stamford has been named honorary trustee following her service as a trustee since 2007 while Anna Czekaj Farber of Westport is elected board chair after having been as a board member since 2013. Czekaj Farber takes over from Barbara Streicker, a Westport resident, who was chairman of the board since 2015. She continues her service as a board member, which began in 2006.
