Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss' first taste of notoriety as a fiddler occurred in 1990. She was just 19 years old, and won the Grammy in the category of Best Bluegrass Album. The award was impressive not only because of Krauss's age as the album that brought her this recognition, I've Got That Old Feeling is actually the third album in the collection of Krauss. Too Late to Cry was her first release, and was made available at her Champaign Illinois local's age, 16. Her contract was already in place with Rounder Records, one of the most prestigious folk labels in the age group of 14. Her achievements even at a young age, as well as her musical virtuosity has been consistently supported by her ability to been a loyal supporter of bluegrass, one of the oldest and least well-known musical genres. Krauss was now a mature performer and producer who had gained experience from her time as a teenager star.
